Guy from Kraków, Poland. Ph.D. in Geology – Mineralogy, Petrology and Geochemistry. Currently in Soil Science – soil mineralogy and geochemistry.

Mineral collector for more than 15 years. There is about 1200 specimen in my collection (for now). Most photos at this blog are taken by myself (with Pentax K-500 or Pentax K-50 with Pentax smc DA L 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 AL and macro lenses close-up +4, close-up +8, close-up +10 and macro +20 lens).

The blog begin, because I needed some place, to put photos of minerals to connect it with localization map (just couple months after I started the blog, GoogleMaps allowed to upload photos directly from hard drive):

But it is fun, so… let’s see how long I will do it.

Enjoy, cause I am.

I’m grateful to you, thoughbI need your full name and a type of license. Is it right to put creative commons 4.0?

    1. Btw. I’ll be grateful, if you let me know, when it will be at wikipedia. And also I have a little more (and sometimes better) photos of minerals, so if you need anything, do not hesitate to letting me know
